Book: Jesus crossed cultural, religious, and racial divides to talk with this woman and reveal Himself. He wanted all people, regardless of background, to enjoy Living Water to satisfy their thirst for God. By believing in Jesus as the Messiah, the woman would receive forgiveness from her life of sin and, in addition, gain freedom from false traditions. The message of Jesus was so liberating that He had unusual acceptance with people from different backgrounds.
