Hook: How do you feel when people don’t pay attention to your instructions?

Book: The angels reminded the women that Jesus repeatedly predicted His suffering, death, and resurrection. By not listening well, the Lord’s followers missed the significance of the events they witnessed and the opportunity to help Jesus through it all. When God speaks, it is for your benefit not His. The disciples would have had such a different experience if they had listened. Their failure brought heartache and confusion, but, thankfully, God repeats Himself.
