Hook: Can you think of a person who stuck with you through thick and thin?

Book: Even though Joseph was a member of the religious council that persecuted Jesus, he boldly put his reputation in jeopardy by requesting the Lord’s body. While others fled, Joseph and Nicodemus pushed fear aside in their passion for the Kingdom of God. Can you imagine how the Father must have felt seeing their devotion acted out toward His crucified Son?

Casual faith is just that and fails to ring the bells of heaven like these men did. Never let the fear of people rob you of honoring the Lord.
