Hook: Can you remember a time when God placed someone in your life to provide wise counsel you desperately needed?

Book: On the eve of His death, Jesus reminded His disciples that they would not be left alone. The Father would send the Holy Spirit to counsel, convict, and make God’s truth known to them. The same Spirit that descended on Jesus at His baptism is the Holy Spirit who would later come at Pentecost to empower believers. Every time you open God’s Word, the Spirit teaches, convicts, and counsels you with truth and righteousness. You are never alone.
