Hook: When did you ever feel that your prayer request was too trivial for God?

Book: Jesus stated that the purpose of this parable is that people should always pray and not give up. Even though this widow had a desperate personal situation and a callous judge, she wore him down with her asking. Jesus encouraged His followers to ask. Jesus wanted to make it clear in this story that the Father welcomes your persistence. By refusing to give up, you remind yourself and the Lord that you trust Him with your situation.
