Hook: When were you given a great lesson in humility?

Book: Since Jesus put aside so much glory to come to earth, it saddened Him to see pretense and pride in others. He revealed His own spirit when He admonished the guests to take the lesser seats and the host to invite the unwanted. In God’s Kingdom, the way up is down. The Lord’s repayment will be worth more than any sacrifice you make. Jesus proved that those who humbles themselves will be exalted.
