Hook: How do people tend to grab credit that really belongs to God?

Book: A little success can go to your head. When the Twelve returned from their successful ministry ventures, Jesus used this miracle to remind them that their ability and success come only from God’s grace and power. The Lord is able to take humble people and things, like loaves and fish, to reveal His glory and meet the needs of others. The Twelve had in their hands what they needed to feed the people; what they lacked was God’s power. If you think ministry depends on your ability, you will merely fail. Service for God begins and ends with dependence on Him.
