Hook: What is a high compliment you would like to receive during your life on earth?

Book: In the clamor of Jesus’ popularity, King Herod Antipas tried to figure out His true identity. Realizing Jesus was someone special, Herodhe only considered powerful people who were dead—a raised John the Baptist, Elijah, or an ancient prophet. He even contradicted current logic and exclaimed, John, whom I beheaded, has been raised from the dead. There could be no higher compliment for John the Baptist than to be confused with Jesus. When Herod witnessed the person and power of Jesus, he could only think of John.
