Hook: Why is it so difficult to submit to others?

Book: Both Jairus and the sick woman bowed down on the ground before Jesus. One asked a favor and the other thanked him for one. In that atmosphere of rejection, their faith must have been refreshing to Jesus. Their humility was catalytic, enabling them to receive more than they dreamed. True humility flows from a realization of who Jesus is and a personal trust in Him. The better you know Him the more you will want to bend the knee in submission.
