Hook: Which personal possession do you prize the most?

Book: Like this man who found a treasure in a field and desired it so much that He bought the field or like the merchant who found the fine pearls, Jesus wanted His followers to realize the true worth of serving in His Kingdom. Nothing is more valuable than possessing His truth and righteousness. This man discovered the joy He craved by simply selling the stuff that doesn’t count to get what does. No sacrifice compares with the treasure Jesus gives.
