Hook: Why do people tend to merely give lip service to prayer before making a major decision?

Book: Jesus spent the entire night in prayer before making one of His most critical choices, appointing His twelve apostles. These men would represent him during His life on earth and after He returned to the Father. He placed much of His life and ministry into their hands.
