Hook: Why does truth rise like cream to the top?

Book: At the moment of His death, Jesus was vindicated by both God and man. The torn curtain in the temple demonstrated that the Father accepted His sacrifice, providing access to Him for all who believe. Then, the immediate response of the centurion said it all. Throughout His life, Jesus claimed to be the Son of God and the Mediator with the Father. These claims led to His death, but His death verified His claims. History and life would be so different if people only believed the obvious truth.
