Hook: Which circumstances in life tend to make people feel alone?

Book: Jesus felt forsaken on the Cross as He took the burden of the world’s sin on His body. The pain of becoming sin for humanity (2 Corinthians 5:21) and taking the punishment that sinners deserve must have been so great that it made Him feel separated from the Father. As the only Lamb of God, He had to walk this path alone to satisfy righteousness. Yet He was strengthened to endure the Cross and would eventually sit at the right hand of the Father. When you feel alone, remember that you are not!
