Hook: How does jealousy reveal itself in inappropriate behavior?

Book: Pilate wanted to release Jesus but could not stand up to the envy of the religious leaders. Jealousy draws out the worst in people. Here, they sided with a notorious prisoner over Jesus, ignored God’s prompting to Pilate’s wife, stirred up the mob to shout all the louder, ignored the Lord’s innocence, and even let their future children take the punishment for their actions. Jealousy hurts and it never makes sense.
