Hook: How well did you do with the largest responsibility ever given to you?

Book: Anticipating His death, Jesus informed His followers that Kingdom responsibilities would be left in their hands until He returned. This parable stressed that responsibilities are distributed to each according to his ability and that faithfulness is expected. Could the master’s response be a picture of heaven? Commendation: Well done. Eternal responsibilities: I will put you in charge of many things. Joy: Share your master’s happiness! The Lord will reward the return you provide on His investment in you.
