CommentsFacing Rejection
Hook: When have people turned on you after you helped them?
Book: During the triumphal entry into Jerusalem Jesus offered himself as the Lord and Messiah, knowing He would be rejected. In a few days, these same crowds would cry out for His crucifixion. The nation would not only pay a horrible price when the Romans destroyed Jerusalem in A.D. 70, but will suffer until Christ returns one day. Even after Jesus gave the people healing, food, and wonderful teaching, they still followed angry people and their own self-interests. If people treat the perfect Son of God like that, can you expect less?
