Hook: When did you ever pay a price for putting off doing the right thing?

Book: Because the religious leaders rejected Jesus, His earthly reign was postponed. Both He and the people would suffer as a result of their failure to believe in Jesus as Messiah. The return of Jesus after the Tribulation will be similar to the days of Noah and Lot since there will be a judgment determining who may enter the Kingdom. Failing to believe God and taking matters into your own hands only brings pain for you and others. Contrary to popular thinking, instant obedience beats instant gratification.
