Hook: Does it surprise you that God gets angry? What would ignite His anger?

Book: Like this earthly host, the Heavenly Father becomes angry when people refuse to come to His banquet because they reject His Son, Jesus. The party was intended for Israel, but their failure to believe opened the door to people from around the world. 

Your excuses may sound reasonable to you but reveal a disdain for your Creator and Savior. You fool yourself into thinking that earthly desires could compare to God’s design for your life. No wonder God becomes angry when you choose your way over His.
