Hook: Can you think of a person who is successful in life but oblivious in some basic area?

Book: Jesus criticized the people for being able to read weather signs in the sky while refusing to see the obvious facts about Him. Everything about His life and work pointed to His true identity as God’s Son. Like people who fail to take advantage of negotiating a settlement before facing a tough judge, their callousness would place them in jeopardy. Ignoring obvious truth has consequences.
