Hook: What expectations linger in the minds of Christians when they pray?

Book: After teaching this prayer, Jesus encouraged His followers to pray boldly. If a father will disturb His sleeping family to lend some bread, how much more will the Heavenly Father open the door to those who knock. He commends persistence. Like a father who wants to give good gifts to his children, the Father will grant you the very best, even the Holy Spirit. So pray boldly, being assured that God will answer with something good.
