Book: Holding people accountable has become a lost art. Jesus outlined a three-stage process for dealing with people who sin against an individual. First, go in private. Second, take others who have witnessed the sin. Third, take it before the larger group. Jesus knew that dealing with such problems early would lessen the impact on both those involved and the church community. He assured them of the Father’s presence as they walked this path.
