Hook: What makes it difficult for people to recognize the true identity of Jesus?

Book: The reason Jesus walked on water was to reveal His divinity to His disciples, who still failed to fully understand. Their hearts were hardened even after seeing the feeding of the five thousand. The beauty of Jesus was not His ability to perform miracles but the quality of His person as the Son of God. Fascination with what Jesus can do may overshadow respect for who He is. Everything He does flows from who He is.
