Hook: Why do you think the word repent has been dropped from society’s vocabulary?

Book: This brief passage records the core message and ministry of the twelve disciples Jesus sent out. They simply preached repentance—turning from disobedience and sin to faith in Jesus. The message was confirmed to their audiences by His miracles. Jesus often reminded people that they could not serve two masters. Devotion to the Creator and Savior demands a big turn from whatever enslaves a person back to the Lord. Believing seems easy, but repentance is another matter!
